Aston Education is working with The School of Research Science, a thriving and vibrant British international school, in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time Computing Teacher to start in August 2026.

The job responsibilities include:

As a Computing Teacher, you’ll teach Computing across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and prepare the students for iGCSE and A level exams.

You’ll implement policies and practices which reflect the school’s commitment to high achievement through effective teaching and learning.

You’ll use data effectively to identify students who are underachieving and create and implement effective plans of action to support those students.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• PGCE and QTS / QTLS
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Successful UK teaching experience in Computing at secondary school level
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Computing
• Proven track record of improving teaching and learning
• Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Teacher of Computing or a middle leader to develop their leadership skills in supporting colleagues in strengthening their practice.

As a Computing Lead Practitioner, you’ll work across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and provide high quality coaching and subject-specific CPD to Computing teachers to achieve sustained improvements in teaching and learning.

You’ll implement and monitor strategies to raise the achievement of targeted Computing students and act as a ‘champion’ for SEND students.

You’ll teach Computer Science / Computing across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and prepare the students for IGCSE and A level exams (Cambridge exam board).
