Job: Alumni Executive Officer

Location: Sixth Form College, near Victoria station, central London

Annual Salary: £29,000 - £30,000

Contract: Full-time, permanent, 52 weeks a year

Aston Education is looking for an Alumni Executive Officer to join this Sixth Form College near Victoria station in Central London. Their Ofsted is Good with Outstanding features.

 

The College aims to educate and empower diverse digital talent. ​They use technology (tech) as a tool for social mobility and addressing the diversity and gender gaps in the tech sector.

 

Purpose of the Role

This role is critical for delivering activities with the college’s prestigious corporate supporters while simultaneously building an impactful alumni community.

The role focuses on supporting partnerships and shaping and delivering events, including fundraising, professional development, volunteering, and mentoring/support.

You will be responsible for both stakeholder management with volunteering and events and ensuring former students and apprentices are supported in their career progression and engagement through the alumni programme. 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree level qualification or appropriate professional experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working in education, alumni relations, membership organisations, or charities
  • Engaging communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of successfully delivering employee volunteering programme
  • Experience managing individuals and groups of volunteers
  • Experience of event planning and delivery
  • Fundraising experience
  • CRM and data set management experience
  • Knowledge of the tech sector industry and how to work with people starting their careers
