Annual Tax-Free Salary: £25,000 - £27,800 + Benefits including housing, flight allowance and medical

Contract: Full-time, fixed term for 2 years

 

Aston Education is working with The School of Research Science, a thriving and vibrant British international school, in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time primary or secondary HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to start in August 2026.

The job responsibilities include:

 

As an HLTA, you’ll work in either the Primary or Secondary School’s inclusion zone.

 

You’ll support small groups of students with SEND or barriers for learning to improve their Maths, English or Functional Skills.

 

You’ll create an engaging learning environment and work collaboratively with the SENDCO, other HLTAs, and the teaching teams.

 

You’ll also support students with examination access arrangement.

 

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • HLTA qualification is desirable
  • Examination access arrangement training is desirable
  • Successful UK LSA/HLTA experience at a primary or secondary school level
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Calm, patient and caring attitude with a good sense of humour
