Job: Primary Class Teacher (Year 2 or Year 3)

Employer: British International School - The School of Research Science, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Start date: 19th August 2026

Annual Tax-Free Salary: £26,600 - £30,500 + Benefits including housing, flight allowance, medical and gratuity (worth over £15,000)

Contract: Full-time, fixed term for 2 years 

 

Aston Education is working with The School of Research Science, a thriving and vibrant international school, in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

They are looking for a full-time primary teacher to teach a Year 2 or Year 3 class.

The job responsibilities include:

 

They are looking for a full-time primary teacher to teach a Year 2 or Year 3 class.

 

As a Primary Class Teacher, you’ll create an engaging learning environment and enable all children to achieve the best outcomes possible. You’ll deliver high-quality education in line with the KS1 or KS2 UK National Curriculum.

 

The role requires careful monitoring of pupil progress, with timely intervention to ensure excellent learning outcomes and positive behaviour. You will also provide pastoral support, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the personal, social, and emotional development of all pupils.

 

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd) or PGCE and a relevant degree
  • Successful UK teaching experience of KS1 or KS2 at a primary school
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for KS1 or KS2
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
